Glued Timber Wooden House
Glued timber is another promising type of building material. They began to use this material recently due to the improvement and development of advanced technologies. Glued wood houses in our time, occupy the top positions in the commodity market of homebuilding. Why is he so good?
I am more than sure that not many professional builders have even heard of glued beams. The reason for the fairly rapidly growing popularity of this beam is obvious: the structures made of it are durable, do not need time for shrinkage, high sound and heat insulating properties, excellent appearance and, as a result of this, no interior decoration is required. Houses from glued beams do not require special care, you just need to maintain the appearance of the building.
For the production of the "miracle" of timber, softwood is used, and the harvesting is done in winter. Further, the wood is spread on the boards, which are heat-treated in the drying chamber to reduce humidity and relieve internal stress, while eliminating the possibility of fungi and microorganisms. Further, all boards go through the process of rejection, are selected without flaws and defects. Subsequently, the boards (lamellas) are planed and spliced together with a specialized environmentally friendly adhesive composition using a press.
The profile of the beam is made in such a way that the walls from it are purged and retain heat in the house. After treatment with an antiseptic and painting the beam, contact of joints with atmospheric precipitation is excluded. The beam does not warp over time and, accordingly, it does not crack over time, preserving its specified geometry.
Domestic manufacturers produce glued beams of various sections, which provide the required characteristics during construction in various regions of Russia.
