Ceramic hob is a convenient, easy to use and modern device. Made of durable ceramic material. It has an absolutely flat and smooth surface, making it easy to keep clean. The latest ceramic plates are characterized by excellent thermal conductivity.
burners
Plates have heating zones (zones). The area around them remains cool - there is no danger of burns. Ceramic plates can have different types of cooking zones. The standard is a spiral-twisted heater that heats up after about 15 seconds. A strong light field, that is, fast heating - it has a heater in the form of a twisted heating cable. The indicated temperature is reached after approximately 8 seconds. Halogen fields in which halogen lamps are a heating element are used more and more often. The full power of this “burner” is achieved in a very short time - about 3 seconds. Cooking zones can be single or expandable. Thus, the heating area is regulated by the size of the vessel, which is especially useful when using large pots and oval panels. The most modern type of hob is an induction hob.
Modern solutions
Ceramic hobs can be equipped with sensors that respond to the presence of dishes on the plate. The plate is heated only when the dish is placed in the appropriate box. Some companies provide their ceramic plates with sensors that automatically adjust the size of the heating surface depending on the vessel installed on it. These are the so-called AF sensors. The use of this type of regulator is a guarantee of safety and energy saving. A ceramic plate is often equipped with a digital display. Thanks to this, we can easily read the power level and control the functions of the burner. The display also shows which area is on or the area is still hot. Ceramic plates may also have touch sensors. By touching a specific field, you can select the type and size of the heating zone. Sensors do not respond to accidental contact, for example, with a cleaning cloth. Some stoves have a programmer that allows you to set the cooking time and determine the type and power of the cooking zone. A wide range of regulators and sensors makes ceramic plates safe. When the board is equipped with tactile sensors, the activation of cooking zones can be blocked by a certain combination of taps (for example, two sensors at the same time) or by one button intended solely for this purpose. This may be a little embarrassing at the beginning of using the oven, but it prevents the child from accidentally turning it on. The temperature is regulated in steps, usually in the range from 1 to 9.
